Sora is the main protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series. A young boy from a small island, his childhood days were spent with his two closest friends, Riku and Kairi. Riku would plan with him to one day leave their island home in search for far away adventure. When Destiny Islands was consumed by darkness, and he, Riku, and Kairi were split up across worlds, he made unlikely friends in Donald Duck and Goofy as he began his quest to find his friends and solve the mystery behind the darkness consuming worlds like his own. He is kind, loving, and loyal to his friends. He holds the power to weild the Keyblade, a talent not seen from birth for a long time. His destiny is inherently tied then to the light, and he carves his own path out in pursuit of eliminating the darkness.
Sora has an undeniable ability to cause everyone who meets him to fall in love with him. While Riku and Kairi are by far his closest friends, there are few and far between who would not call Sora one of their most special friends. His carefree attitude and inability to ignore the potential good in everyone causes anyone who encounters him to gravitate towards him. He lives up to his reputation as being an embodiment of light throughout the series, always resilient even in the worst situations. His biggest strength is also his greatest downfall, as his unconditional selflessness for everyone he cares about causes him to become self sacrificial in nature.
